ForTHAT company, I put on ANOTHER 100K-ish kilometers on their 2013 focus. This focus had already had the trans repaired, but it never skipped a beat in the year and a
2012 is the complete redesign. The DCT has its issues but not every car had a bad DCT, many of us had no issues. It made the Car&Driver 10-best in 2012 & 2013. If its not clunky/noisy while driving it will most likely be perfectly fine. clunky at low speed. Ford extended he warranty to 100K miles on the DCT.

The 8v 1.6 TDCI fitted to the Mk3 is generally pretty reliable. It's not the same as the carbonising, turbo popping, 16v 1.6 TDCi fitted to the Mk2s. The injectors are crap though, as with all modern piezo injectors you're lucky to get 50k from them.
